Dript Gourmet came to this project with the kind of brand foundation every ecommerce site needs: a strong origin story, a distinct product line, and a clear reason to exist. The opportunity was to turn that into a Shopify experience that felt as flavourful as the products themselves.

The site needed to balance warmth and appetite appeal with structure and clarity. We focused on creating a customer journey that helps people quickly understand what Dript Gourmet is, why the products are different, and how easily they can transform everyday meals into something memorable.

From product organization to copy direction, the website was built to feel bold, inviting, and effortless to shop.

The Dript Story: Dript Gourmet is a Canadian condiment brand rooted in Italian food traditions, bold reinvention, and the belief that everyday meals can become unforgettable with the right finishing touch. Known as Canada’s first-to-market Hot Honey and Spicy Maple Syrup manufacturer, Dript Gourmet creates clean-label, small-batch condiments made with Canadian-sourced ingredients, including organic maple syrup and non-GMO honey.

For this project, Halo Creatives designed a Shopify website that brings the brand’s warm, foodie, family-kitchen energy into a polished ecommerce experience. The goal was to create a site that felt bold, mouthwatering, premium, and welcoming while making it easy for customers to shop, explore pairings, discover the brand story, and connect with the Dript Gourmet community.

The Problem (old website):

  • Dript Gourmet had a bold product line and a strong origin story, but the website needed to bring that flavour, personality, and product clarity into one cohesive shopping experience.

  • The product line includes multiple condiment categories, including honey, maple syrup, and hot sauce, so the site needed to make the collection easy to understand and shop.

  • The brand had a strong origin story, but it needed to be translated into a website experience that felt concise, compelling, and conversion-focused.

  • Customers needed clear guidance on how to use the products beyond the obvious pairings, especially for pizza, cheese boards, BBQ, sandwiches, cocktails, desserts, and everyday meals.

  • The website needed to speak to both home foodies and professional food service buyers without feeling too broad or diluted.

The Solution:

  • Built a bold Shopify website that reflects Dript Gourmet’s Italian heritage, Canadian-made products, and modern foodie appeal.

  • Created a clear shopping structure for honey condiments, maple syrup condiments, and hot sauce.

  • Developed concise website copy that highlights the brand’s key differentiators: Canada’s original hot honey, small-batch production, clean-label ingredients, Canadian-sourced ingredients, and upcycled hot sauce innovation.
